About Andrea Dunathan

Andrea Dunathan, founder of Dunathan Consulting, is a Harvard graduate with over fifteen years’ experience in business analysis, including business process analysis, information analysis, user research and requirements analysis, and software design. Her ability to quickly and effectively understand new business environments allows her to develop customized solutions that are appropriate to the culture of her client’s organization. The combination of her communication skills and technical expertise makes her a pleasure to work with, and gives her customers immediate confidence that the project will truly benefit the organization.

Ms. Dunathan’s work experience includes senior-level software requirements and design, business and systems analysis, and client communications. She has many years’ experience in business improvement initiatives using business process analysis, communications, and cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills. She has both formal training and hands-on experience in gathering user requirements and user interaction design for business and scientific software applications. She is an experienced public-sector management consultant specializing in strategic planning, performance measurement, and budgeting. Her systems experience includes custom-built applications, websites, ERP implementation, and EDI. She has also developed and conducted training seminars for government managers and nonprofit board and management staff.
